The year was 1981 when the first RiverClay store opened its doors in the leafy suburb of Warrandyte, on the banks of the Yarra River.
In those days Warrandyte truly was the Mecca of beautifully decorated Australian ceramics hence the name RiverClay.
Even then, RiverClay had a certain uniqueness in its variety of products sourced from all over the world, as close as Fitzroy and as far as India, Morocco and even Ireland. Always at very affordable prices!
We now have 3 wonderful retail outlets located in the north eastern region of Melbourne.
Our showroom is tucked away in the industrial area of Eltham. It is a much bigger space which displays our exclusive range of furniture and unique items. We have a large collection of antique Javanese walls, doorways and daybeds all in original old Teak. It also houses our huge range of Mahogany furniture, garden statues and Moroccan lanterns.
Our Eltham and Ivanhoe stores are stocked full of gorgeous furniture, homewares, jewelery and ceramics ranging from Oriental to French Provincial styles.
For the more traditional, we also sell a large range of tiffany leadlight lamps, imported mahogany furniture, patchwork quilts, cushions and other beautiful treasures.
